Bishop Mitchell Rozanski to host two upcoming ecumenical events, Jan 19 & 30

Bishop Mitchell Rozanski extends a cordial invitation to all parishioners and clergy to join him on Friday Jan. 19 at 7pm at St. Michael’s Cathedral for a Prayer Service marking “Prayer for Christian Unity” week. Join Bishop and members of other local Christian denominations to celebrate our shared Christian identity, and pray for unity.

Bishop Mitchell Rozanski invites you to join him on Jan. 30 from 6 to 8:30pm for a “Faith on Tap” dialogue with Lutheran Bishop James Hazelwood at The Student Prince Restaurant, 8 Fort Street, Springfield. They will discuss the 500th anniversary of the Reformation and the many ways both faith communities have greatly improved relations in recent years. Free appetizers courtesy The Student Prince will be served.

Information on this event is available at www.iobserve.org and www.diospringfield.org.
